From old, used, often abandonned wooden stumps and aged metallic tools, Bernard Froment grafts glass to offer them the possibility to Exist again. His artworks materialize our own thoughts. They reveal generosity nestled in our genes. An invitation to caress the Light.

The sculptor regards himself as an assembler of materials. He grafts the spirit of reclaimed glass on abandoned wooden stumps and aged metallic tools to offer them a new verticality, a new Life, a new Light. To provide them the opportunity to Exist again, to sprout to Present. Step by step, always carving, to be as fair, as true, as respectful as possible in a momentum of freedom & fraternity. With his art, he sows a seed, to offer a new germination, to create a relationship, to Live in an endless Love.
GLASS BREAKAGE, tO REVEAL A NEW LIGHT
As in men’s lives, his sculptures are made from multiple breakages, fragilities and old stories. The Light created by glass breaks, connects them to their own strength and fragility, to their own lives, to their higher universal dimension. Bernard Froment’s art is a message to raise awareness about human condition. It is linked to the germination of Living state. It deals with rebirth, with openness : this essential moment on Earth when men have to make things happen, grow, in their own way, in their own Lives.

As a pionneer of organic farming in the early 90’s, Bernard Froment has always been working for the respect of Nature, Human & Earth. His actions for sustainable development and his claim for a healthier food are closely linked to his artistic approach. He decided 30 years ago to get out of his tractor and to act for a re-connection of men to their true nature. He started carving and never stopped since then. By grafting glass on old wood and tools, his art deals with the possibility of a new germination, a new Consciousness of Life. His art denounces, it challenges, it relieves, it heals. It holds the deep generosity of Nature.
