Concept

A LUMINOUS LINK BETWEEN HEAVEN & EARTH

In a fallow land parcel, surrounded by wheat, he planted 12 metallic trees with glass buds, fragile, green, empty bottles to signify the current 12 European countries, involved in the Common Agricultural Policy. As a need to express the peasant’s feeling to lose his Freedom.

One ploughing evening, the vision of glossy freshly plowed clods of soil and of shiny stars in the sky inspired him to use Glass in order to materialize Trees.

Decisive and deep moment towards the choice of this material, the Glass, which represents much more than just a material to me. Glass budding.

To create this luminous link between Heaven and Earth, essential to our existence.
